Has Aizen been somehow expecting Ichigo to arrive, all healed up and stuff? Like he has some ulterior motive for waiting soooo long to really get it started? He could just take care of the majority of the Vizards himself and skip to Yamamoto. We could be 3/4 done with this fight already, but we're about 1/2. He's blatantly stalling.
And it's frustrating me! Tell me why, Kubo! Why is Aizen stalling?And... Time isn't a constant most of the time. So... how simultaneous have these fights been? What I mean by that is will Ichigo and Unohana enter the FKT at the exact moment Shinji screams to high heaven for Ichigo after Hiyori was bifurcated or will it be a little afterwards? Although it would be sweet if they did (Your wish is my command), it wouldn't seem like it made much sense. |

Hmm, I think she was bisected, not bifurcated. Bifurcation (if I got my definition correct) is more like splitting something, so it ends up in a Y shape; bisection is cutting something in half.
Why is Aizen stalling? Because he knows we're reading about him and he wants to frustrate us, that's why.

First of all a king or a captain dont fight when they have pawns a fuku taichous to do it. This is in every war. They just give orders.
Second I think he is waiting for Ichigo, I think he has plans for him. Aizen finds all this war entertaining, so he is just enjoying himself looking at the helpless trash trying to defeat him

I bet Aizen plans to use Ichigo for the key.

...Uh, he's waiting, in my opinion, for Orihime to do something really, really stupid that he's manipulated her into thinking will work. Instead of grabbing the stupid distortion sphere, and leaving Hueco Mundo (to try to destroy AFTER the fighting's over, which would be the smart thing to do), she's almost definitely going to try to reject it on the spot. Which, as you might recall, slowly reverts an item to it's original state. In this case, the sphere is dormant. If she tries to reject it, it will first reject the dormancy forced on it--and if a minion (or something/someone else) interrupts the process, voila! he'll have one activated sphere, ready for full use by the megalomanic sociopath.
Anyone else see this happening? Because Aizen showing Orihime that stupid sphere was such an obvious set-up. (And even if it doesn't happen, and it's just a delaying tactic, well, it's working, isn't it? Orihime resolved to stay in Hueco Mundo to try, did she not?) ...and why isn't he attacking Yamamoto? There must be a reason. Perhaps Yamamoto knows how to contact the Royal Guard? or Aizen has minions ready to attack/currently attacking the clearly very vulnerable soul society from the inside, so that when the captains return, there is nothin to return to? There's something very fishy about the whole set-up (and I'm still waiting to find out how the heck Isshin fits into this whole mess!) |

And as for Aizen not attacking Yamamoto, Yamamoto isn't exactly all that gung-ho about attacking Aizen either. They're pretty much just watching one another. The most Aizen's done was attack one of his OWN minions, talk shit ("Come, Gotei 13 and you Arrancar wannabes."), and left the rest up to everyone else. Yamamoto trapped Aizen and co. at the start and then got rid of Allon and Harribel's fraccion and that's it. So maybe they (Aizen and Yamamoto) both have their reasons for dilly-dallying and really just letting everyone else slaughter one another. I mean, obviously no one there is any match for them other than themselves so... (and there's gotta be a reason that Kirio Hikifune chick's name was mentioned so many times in the Pendulum arc. Yes, I know it was because she was promoted to Squad 0, but still. They drilled her name into us. If nothing happens with her or Squad 0, I'ma be pissed). |

i think your right, Aizen is stalling.... more or less, he's waiting for Ichigo so he can take him down and end the hope of everyone -- i mean they are all secritly hoping that Ichigo can end it, you kill the last hope and the rest will fall more easily
