Just want to see what people think.
Will Kintarou actually get any play time in the series? It seems like an obvious yes, and I hope it is a yes. But we have yet to actually see him play anything. Every game he plays it just gets skipped or ends in impossible situations (one-point vs Ryoma). Kintarou is being held to a very high standard (Ryoma level), but he has no real skills. Anyone can return the ball, that is assumed at this level. He has a lot of stamina, but that normally doesn't decide a match. He has one insane special, but seeing that multiple times would get old fast. Can Kintarou actually play the game without seeming suckish? It seems he has nowhere to really go with his character. |

Personally, I see Kintarou as someone who's the polar opposite of Ryoma's cocky personality, as the "Super Rookie of the West", as the closest to achieving Ten'i Muhou...and it stops there. You're right, even though he's at the same level as Ryoma, Kin-chan's actual strength's not fully explored, though snippets of it were shown (during his one-ball match against Ryoma and his match against Yukimura). So yeah, an actual play time would be nice so that we can finally see what he can REALLY do.

I also forgot to mention that Ryoma should've played Kintarou. The tourney rules started out as every game would be played regardless of previous games. So I don't even get what was up with that reaaoning.

I want to see him play too, it would be really good. Seeing as, he is supposed to be really wild and he's soo cute, one of my favourite characters
