It was getting so hard to follow the storyline in these past recent story arcs because it split up into so many different ways. For a long stretch, we didn't even see any story on Ichigo and then when it switched back to talking to Ichigo, I had almost forgotten where they left off.

I'm glad to see things heading back to a more unified storyline with Ichigo going back to earth and meeting up with everyone fighting against Aizen.

yeah i thougth aizen could cast an illusion on anyone but u must see his shikai first, that make the question:

has isshin seen his shikai? if not i think he will help in the fight along with ishida's dad

Isshin abandoned being a shinigami 20 years ago, so unless he was totally isolated from the rest of the captains, I'd say he's seen it.

lol why do I get the feeling that Isshin would have not accepted isolation? I could just imagine him getting chummy with Byakuya (or attempt to) and have a laugh with the other captains lol

anyhows i dunno i think Issin may be a bit over powering than be friendly with byakuya.. he's lived in the soul society i think he knows his place with the nobles.. unless he is one secretly but i have no proof of that.

I enjoyed the chapter a lot. Sure is leaning a lot towards Ichigo though.

Its a Bleach thing...if you've noticed throughout the series he's been the kinda...hero that nobody else can be pretty much, its just a thing with this series i guess (if nobody can do it, Ichigo MUST be able to do it...) kinda annoying

No, I think that Mr Kubo did a great job finding a reason why Ichigo MUST defeat Aizen, it was good for me ^^

I disagree. Of all of the people in Bleach, Ichigo is perhaps the worse possible choice for this task.

The only real chance that Ichigo has of defeating Aizen is the element of suprise. Even though he has not seen Aizen's shikai, he still is severly lacking in the practical skills of being a Soul Reaper to be a serious threat to any Captain in a prolonged battle. Remember that Byakuya was on the verge of killing Ichigo, in their duel, when Ichigo's innner-hollow stepped in and saved him. Aizen has been a captain twice as long as Byakuya and has spent most of his time as a Soul Reaper plotting and preparing for this battle. Realisticly, what chance does Ichigo have in a prolonged battle with Aizen? None, Really. The best Ichigo can hope to do is suprise Aizen and gravely wound him with a lucky hit.

hmm.... personally what i think would happen is this - ichigo nearly gets killed by aizen in one shot but the next thing you know, another hollow pops out again..... the same old thing with ulquiorra.....
