the scheme on the time warps and the doubles... as long as i'm concerned
PD: Sorry if i don't explain well, i'm Spanish...
well... the only guys in all the Story that are duplicated are Syaoran and Sakura so i've made some diagrams in order to explain it. first of all... let's see Syaoran.... as anybody must be aware one of the reasons why Tsubasa (boy) was sent to Clow country was to prevent what Sakura "the original" saw in her dream, when he leaves his father orders him to name himself after him... but who are their parents? Sakura and Syaoran "the originals". once Tsubasa (boy) reaches the clow country he finds Tsubasa (girl) and the story goes on.... finally, when Tsubasa is captured by Fei wong on her 7'th birthday Tsubasa (boy) returns to the witch of dimensions and ask her to let him return to the Clow country... and then for 7 years he stays there... when Tsubasa (girl) semidied Tsubasa (boy) asked the witch of dimensions to return the moment when Tsubasa (girl) was captured by Fei wong... at this moment Kimihiro was born as a consequence of Tsubasa (boy) breaking the rule of time; as long Kimihiro "exist" the time can go back and make all that happen in Tsubasa... as the payment for the time he returned he must give his time and his freedom and stay with Fei Wong. this is a diagram of what happened...  take in account that the second case is always theoricall and never "really" happens... but it's a condition made in order to gave sense to the new world that comes out from Tsubasa (boy) wish... Another thing that i must say is that Sakura and Syaorang "the originals" knew that Tsubasa, Sakura "the Double" and Syaorang "the Double" will need their help in the future to prevent the loop that was made, and for that they let then stay in that bottle all that time... they also gave the magical wand of sakura the double gave to then in one of the Sakura "the original" dreams... Moving on i'll explain the outcome... when the time returned it affected the live of those who could see the death seal of Tsubasa (girl) once that was put by Fei Wong... And those were the "creations" of Fei wong... those who were put on the new Clow country created from the wish of Tsubasa (boy)... but one thing that Fei Wong didn't know was the real names of the Tsubasa so he named then as he believed... Sakura and Syaoran (the doubles) acoumplishing the Time loop as described before... So... the Syaoran and the Sakura "Doubles" go on with their lives until Fei Wong scatter the feathers of Sakura "the Double"... and they start the journey to fullfill Fei Wong Desire [gathering of the original body (Tsubasa "girl", the memories of the Soul (feathers) and the memories of the Body (Sakura "the double"'s body)]... at this rate what Fei wong didn't expected was the betrayal of his creation and the freedom of Tsubasa (boy)... that starts to aware the others about the doubles and the Tsubasa... When Sakura "The double" dies in the chess world... her soul goes to the dreams and in her body the Feathers stay with her and so... when her body is stolen in Nihon (the country of Tomoyo-hime) the memories of the soul and the memories of the body goes to Fei wong... the story goes on until we reach the final climax... at the moment Syaoran "the Double" sacrifice himself to let Tsubasa (boy) to enter the dimension of Fei wong, he meets Yuko and grant he, Syaoran "the Double" and Sakura "the Double" a new life (maybe the one from SCC but it can be another... dunno). This is the key to the Time loop and the developement of all the story... finally... when the final battle comes... Sakura and Syaorang "the originals" are also "the Doubles" (that dammed Ohkawa and her developements...XDDDDD). They help Tsubasa (boy) to save tsubasa (girl) and finally when they got trapped in the bottle of Fei Wong and he is finally defeated... the existence of Syaoran and Sakura are not needed anymore to accomplish the time loop... the story goes on and finally Tsubasa (boy) and Tsubasa (girl) return to the original Clow country and the story finally ends... AAAAAAAAAAALTHOUGH... as Tsubasa (girl) should have died and Tsubasa (boy) was born from fathers that have been desintegrated they remain as a Paradox or a failure in all the sistem of logics... BUT NANASE HAVE SAID THAT DOESN'T MATTER AND IF SHE SAYS SO THERE IS NOTHING TO BE DONE  Anyway... if you have any doubt, remainder, complaint or whatever... just post and we talk...

Well, I did read it, but I was confused.
With the ´originals` do you mean their parents? As far as I know the parents are the clones. This is what confused me when I read your post. But what you wrote made me think about the whole time warp concept of Tsubasa again..........and it left me with a severe headache. So for now, I have to give up. |

when "the originals" create the time loop they also become "the doubles"... because that they leave a parallel live...
one on the bottle and the other in Clow country (the second one, created after Tsubasa (boy) wish)... that's one of the consequences of Tsubasa (boy) wish... it's hard to understand... but once you comprehend it... it's quite simple... |

lol you really gave effort to write up this explanation. however, my understanding from the manga is that that Syaoran [Original, aka Tsubasa (boy)] 's parents are the clones, hence i refer them as clones, while you describe them as "the originals" which made me confused while reading ur post .
Remember when both the clones were granted by Yuuko a new life in another dimension? They were granted a new "life": clone Sakura was in an exchange in hong kong, met with the clone Syaoran, and went on to have a kid that is now the Tsubasa boy. This Tsubasa Syaoran is the 7 year old boy who is stuck to make the decision on Sakura Tsubasa (girl)'s 7th birthday with the death mark thing. Once Syaoran Tsubasa decided to turn back time, he then had to stay in that container thing during that time. Watanuki was then created and given to his parents as a substitute of him, and in Clow country, Fei Wong CREATED the clone that Touya described as weird / odd (refer to the first few chapters, touya mentioned that). This implies that the Clone Syaoran is the one that made the request to Yuuko at the beginning to save Sakura clone. This clone is also the one that eventually meets Yuuko after he died, and was granted the new life (met in Hong Kong blabla as written in the 1st part of this paragraph).. hence we finally can close the loop thingey.. The loop is ended with the fight in the water place thingey. SO, backtrack to the clones that are parents of the Tsubasa Syaoran, after the 7 year old Syaoran is in CLow country (before tsubasa sakura's 7th birthday), the clones are then TRAPPED in the glass container to pay the price of BREAKING the loop (remember they were stuck in that glass container, unable to touch each other?). The paradox: since Tsubasa Syaoran is essentially made of a CLONE of himself; it is actually impossible. For Tsubasa Syaoran to be born he need someone to be his parents.. but it turns out his parents are made up of "cells" of him. Hence practically impossible. The nature of this paradox is somewhat similar to the "the egg / chicken comes first" question. correct me if im wrong anywhere.. im not too sure myself, and i really would love to be able to understand the flow and real storyline of the manga.. loved it at the beginning, but towards the end it got unnecessarily too complicated for its own good -__- |

Clone Syaoran and Clone Sakura are confirmed to be alternate versions of their CCS counterparts.
When the two arrived in front of Yuuko's shop, she remarked that they were alternate selves of 'Syaoran' and 'Sakura'. When the Cloneys are reincarnated, their last name is Li. Clone Sakura also said that she met her alternate self, who gave her the staff. It's unknown how Tsubasa Syaoran and Tsubasa Sakura fit into this.

I'm thinking that maybe even the author herself/himself is confused by her/his own work.....I mean like maybe he/she made it so complicated because he/she didn't want anyone to quetion the unexplanable......sort of like how he/she wanted all these things to happen but it was impossible to merge them together without confusing the readers first??? Like there's no answer to this or something
