This is just a thought that came. When Shugo Chara! ends, which would probably be after THIS season (Party!), would you go in depression? I know I would. I have no idea how I would handle it though. So, what about you? Would you just move on to another manga? Or stay glued to this, re-read it, and then cry your heart out? The second is what I would do. I don't want Shugo Chara! to be a drag on, but also, I want it to continue. But, sadly, I have a feeling after Amu find her would-be self (which is probably in this season), the series is gonna end. 'Cause that's what it revolves around. So...

MAIN QUESTION: WOULD YOU MISS IT OR BE DEPRESSED IF SHUGO CHARA! ENDED?
MY MAIN ANSWER: YES, I WOULD BE DEVASTADED.

I've already started to move onto other anime and manga series, so I won't get depressed. Neither should you. The series can always be reread, re-watched, and there will be plenty of fanfiction, so no need to get depressed. ^^ There are so many anime and manga out there to read and watch. Start getting involved in some other fandoms, then the transition to another fandom and series won't be as bad and the "after affects" won't be as bad either.

Won't be depressed at all. Would actually be happy if it ended in the next few chapters (as long as it was done well).

It's been dragged on long enough, and there really isn't reason for a fourth season. I'm not even considering the current season a /season/, but as more of a side-story.

I also really agree with this. I'm sensing that the manga is coming to an end within the next few chapters. I definitely think that Peach-Pit could do it. And a fourth season would be horrible, in my opinion. It would really be milking the series for all its worth by then. --0--

I guess I would be kind of happy and kind of sad. Shugo Chara is my very first anime/manga and also the first one that I have really followed (I'm already behind in Kobato and Kimi ni Todoke). I will miss all the characters, the story, and the excitement I got when it was "that time of the month". That's what I call the time of the month when the newest chapter of SC! is about to be released. *ahem* Anyway, I will surely miss all of that, but every good story must come to an end at some point. And that makes me happy because I want to see how the story concludes. I want Amu to find her true self, Ikuto to come back with Aruto (then he and Tsukasa can explain all about the Lock & Key and other things we have been wondering about), and then a nice time skip would be nice so that we could see where everyone ends up in life. So it's okay to be a little sad, but don't become depressed. You could always reread it. I'm definitely going to do that once it ends. And there are other ongoing manga out there too. Like Arisa, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Watashi ni xx Shinasai, and Barajou no Kiss. And that's only a few of the other series that I have gotten into. No other series is going to feel like Shugo Chara, but each have their own "feel" that you fall in love with too. And hey, if you haven't watched Princess Tutu, you should. It's an amazing anime, but I know that a lot of people are turned off by it's name. Yea... so, don't be too sad.

Exactly with me. My love for SC! has moved to other and better anime and manga. And don't just always stick with one; widen your variety a bit. The only thing that would leave me disappointed is a very vague ending, but I'm positive Peach-Pit can pull it off, too.

I’ll cry, I know I’ll cry. This is the first manga I’ve followed, even if it’s only been for a few months. I’ll probably go into a depressed mode for a few days, and then I’ll get better but return to depressed mode whenever I see anything related to Shugo chara (I hope it doesn’t end around Easter). But this is my standard reaction to any series or story I’ve finished, even when I wrote my own story as a school project I still felt sad when I finished it. I’ll get over it eventually; I’ll probably go on a search for a new series and at the same time I’ll be re-reading/re-watching Shugo chara. And then after a few months I’ll abandon Shugo chara for about a year before returning and getting back into a Shugo chara mood again. That’s what usually happens…

well i don't think i would mind if the ending was really good and not sucky like ouran high schol host club and lot's of other animes i could mention. but if it dose end badly but i hope it dosn't.

I'd definitely be very sad, but I'll move on to other manga. If you look at my full siggie, you'll see how long the list is, so I'll likely survive. :|
