That was the best quote I've heard all day. I agree with you, of course: Ohkawa has even a stranger mind than Salvador Dali, Quentin Tarantino and John Lennon put together.

And if we were already random to begin with, this has made it worse. *massive giggle fit*

True, this series was indeed confusing, even for trc being my favorite manga and almost understanding everything about it. How can anyone not be confused? I mean I know I've probably read a few parts over again, then I finally get it. Sometimes I find things that i didn't even notice the first time around like in the small panels? Idk. But yeah overall it was an awesome story and glad it was made cuz I think Clamp really did a great job with it, despite the many fits of spazms us fans had trying to understand it througout its chapters xD;

THE plot is not that complicated if you had read other types of literature... you need to have some literature background to read the history well.... i've read the hole thing in two days (and i mean the WHOLE= TRC+XXXHolic)...

and Ohkawa-sama is not that crazy... i think she has read a lot of novels and other types of literature... from there she gets the inspiration from this plots... read Hegelian and romantic Idealism (and do not confound it with romantic for love, it has a complete different meaning).... the antiutopists of the XX century... mix it with Azimov and his school.... and obviously... have enough imagination to relate it all and you can make a plot like the one from TRC...

The feelling of reading this book is the same as i had when i read the Quixote... a deep analisis of the human soul and it's feelings trough a single story (although Ohkawa-sama put into some cliches of the manga world... wich is a pity, for example... fye's and kurogane's background). What differences more Ohkawa-sama from el seņor* Cervantes is that Ohkawa is translating the story from literature and he is making a new whole aspect in literature and human nature that noone has ever made before (I wanted to make that clear in order to difference Ohkawa-sama from el seņor Cervantes).

Finally... for resuming purpose... is that what i'm trying to say is that Ohkawa-Sama is a good story-maker but don't praise her like she were a genius cause she's not. in literature she would be like a Herman Hesse (wich is actually good cause he's a Nobel) specially for he's chief book "Sidhartta".

PD: From my point of view, she has make a better job in Chobits due to the great paralellism that she made bettwen the XX century antiutopism, the actuall situation in the civilized world in wich are people who lives for and only the machines... a normal people can be identified with Hideki... and also... the ending has a very simbolic and also a tragic meaning... the Deceit pf the Human Genre... it leaves you (at least i felt that way) with a good and bad feeling...

* The master, or Sir... it can be translated in both ways... just wanted to give honorifics to both...
