Well I'm one guy who reads this thing.

It seems the majority of this manga's fans are girls, so I was just wondering if there were more out there like me; straight guys who like reading this manga.

I read it because I think Haruhi is the most interesting person I could ever imagine. Her personality is everything you could want in a girl..

I don't know why it would be so surprising for a guy to read this series... Most guys deviate from Shoujo in fear of looking girly, yet girls read Shounen/Seinen all the time...

A question to guys, what's the difference? I'm a major Shounen fan, a female, so does that mean that I'm manly? I don't see why reading Shoujo would make guys think it's girly...

I think it's great that there are some guys on here who read this series.

I'm another guy that reads this manga. I watched the anime first and found it so funny.

well the reason i guess that guys don't want to admit it (i mean, none of my friends know i read this, only you guys do :P) is because guys are far more afraid of looking girly than girls are afraid of looking manly.

in society, girls who like sports and action are actually considered normal and in most cases, desirable because guys want girls who can relate to them. but guys who are into dolls and love stories are automatically labelled 'gay', and therefore not accepted in normal male groups or by female peers either, since girls want guys who are manly and can protect them.

now is there anything wrong with guys that read this manga, I'm a girl and I mostly read shounen, to be hones this is the only shoujo I read, so does that make me not the regular stereotype of a female?
Most guys don't want to admit it cuz they think they would be think that it's "gay"
