Usually in a manga, the main guy is usually the hottest or nicest guy right? That doesn't seem to be the case in this story. Kazehaya just doesn't jump out to me as the main guy. I literally had to go check to make sure I spelled his name right. On the other hand Ryuu is completely sexy! If I was Sawako, I would NEVER have looked twice at Kazehaya if he was next to Ryuu. When Chizuyu said she didn't want him I was like and almost died of shock. I might be a little biased because Ryuu fits my anime guy type, silent and sexy, but come on Kazehaya, step up! Don't get me wrong, Kazehaya is a very nice guy and I am sure he is very appealing to alot of people, but I think he could be alot more of a presence. So...is it just me?

Ryu is cool. He kinda reminds me of Mori from Ouran. Pin is fun too. I like how him and Kazehaya seem like a big brother picking on his little brother. For me Kazehaya is the best though. He's so cute when he's being shy or even getting mad. I like how he doesnt seem to be the best looking or rich or anything fancy like that. He seems like a normal nice guy. Kinda refreshing actually.

hmm it's probably 'cause u have a different expectation or should i say a difference in taste?
IMO, i think he's a rather pleasant/optimistic guy who's not of the norm; generally, the male protagonist is usually either feisty or plain quiet.

You just have a different taste. We all think that Kazehaya is really refreshing. For me he's handsome though I admit he's not hot or anything special. He's just attractive. I really don't find Ryuu attractive.. I don't really like his hair but it fits him (Mori in OHSHC is better than him ) It's just your taste. We all have different tastes..

i find kazehaya sparkling actually...i dont see anyone else but kazehaya in the manga...ahahah!its about the taste really!ryuu is alright but kaehaya is just too sweet and refreshing to handle

I guess it is just me, huh. I don't know, when i first saw Kazehaya, I didn't get that "The main guy has entered the story" feeling. I actually waited a few chapters to see if a rival for Sawako's attention was going to appear. I didn't feel the way I felt when I first saw Natsume from GA, Usui from KWMS, Ikuto from SC, Ren from SB. Even people like Tadase from SC and Yuki from FB, whom have the princely vibe which I hate, but I felt their presence in the story. I swear, when I think about this manga I always forget Kazehaya and I don't do it purposely. I guess in a way Kazehaya could be refreshing because he might be one of the most realistic characters I have come across.

It is true Kazehaya doesn't have strong personality like the people you mention above. Maybe that's why he doesn't make impact as much as the others xD
But I think he has such a warm aura that make people comfortable around him

i think Ryuu is the hottest in Kimi ni Todoke too and Pin's really funny guy x) to me Kazehaya has sush a personality that... i dont'know xD so he's only on the 3rd place *-*

oohh.. i too think that Ryuu is so much hotter than Kazehaya.. he's silent.. a good observer..oh so considerate nd caring.. nd yet aloof at the same tym.. oh haan he's got a good body also.. uhum he's definitely hotter!

but that dosent make Kazehaya unworthy of being the centre of attention here.. he's so.. different.. so normal nd plain yet special.. such a comforting presence..

plus Ryuu nd Sawako wudnt make a good couple.. they just wudnt complement each other..
