Okay peeps, this is a "game" I like playing with various fandoms.

Basically, you pick a fandom (Tsubasa/CLAMP on this thread, to stay on topic) and then you pick a album. Any album, from your favorite metal band, a musical, or even a collection of parody songs. And then you must pair a song with either a character, a couple, or a event in the fandom (Once again, Tsubasa).
BUT, you must use every song on the album, got it? And you must come up with an explanation to why you paired the song up with the character/pairing/event. If you can't come up with a decent explanation a simple IDK will do, but please try even if it's hard.
The stranger the album, the funnier results. Like, try using the Hannah Montana soundtrack. You'll get hilarious results, no doubt. XD

Okay, I'll provide an example with the album I'm listening to right now: Because I'm Awesome by The Dollyrots (If you haven't heard of them, go look 'em up on Youtube. You won't be disapointed)

1. Because I'm Awesome- Mokona (Because Mokona is the awesome sauce, peeps)

2.My Best Friend's Hot- DouWata (Yes, different fandom, but Holic and Tsubasa are closely connected, so you can use it too. Doumeki and Watanuki (though he wont admit it) are best friends and I think we all know how Doumeki feels about Watanuki XD)

3. Out of LA- The TRC Gang (The TRC gangs journey and what not)

4. Brand New Key- SyaoSaku (because of the rollerskating references...and the song is full of CLAMPs favorite thing: perverted subtext)

5. Hysteria-KuroFai ( Kurogane is curing Fai's hysteria...uh huh.)

6. A Desperate SOS- The final battle with FWR (the TRC gang trying to save the dimensions)

7. Watch Me Go: Kissed Me, Killed Me- Fai ( his bad luck when it comes to love D=)

8. This Crush- C!SyaoC!Saku (because C!Syaoran scares me...)

9. Cat Calling- Fai (because he is such a flirt ;D)

10. 17 -KuroFai (because Fai is technically an old geezer trying to seduce a much younger man. AshuFai as well)

11. Nobody Wants U-KuroFai (Nobody wants Fai like Kurogane does)

12. Turn You Down-C!SyaoSaku (C!Sakura should turn down C!Syaoran when he comes back)

13. Tummy Tum Tum-FaiSyao (Fai's eye is in Syaoran's tummy tum tum! XD)

Hannah Montana! (Hey, you asked for it.)

"This Is the Life" - Syaoran is dreaming of one say saving Sakura. (You have to listen to the lyrics to understand)
"The Other Side of Me" - Fai has two sides. His fake happy facade side and his emo angst side. Woo hoo!
"I Got Nerve" - That's right! Kuro-Montanna's got nerve baby! He'll cut you!
"If We Were A Movie" - A sweet song that'd fit the "best friends" falling for each other, Sakura and Syaoran
"Pumpin' Up the Party" - Yuuko and Fai like to pump up the party with "SAAAKKKKEEEE!!!!" as my aunt would say
"Just Like You" - Fai's saying he's not this super awesome person, on the inside he's just like everyone else?
"Who Said" - Sakura is saying who said she couldn't do blah blah blah? She's not a doll!
"The Best of Both Worlds" - This one is self explanitory. (The best of BOTH WORLDS.) Applies to either the gang or just KuroFai.

Guys, Hannah Montanna songs really fits Tsubasa...its kinda scary.

1. Girlfriend - Fai/Kuro/Tomo because Fai totally wants to be Kuro's girlfriend and Kuro wants him back

2. I Can Do Better - Yuuko/Clow because, let's face it, Yuuko can do much better

3. Runaway - Fai because that's basically what he does the entire series

"Keep Holding On" is a good song for the Tsubasa gang.

And "I Touch Myself" is a good song for KuroFai 8DDD *shot*

This sounds fun! I'm usually a one song out of an album type of person...but I know the perfect album...

WICKED! <3

Yes, I have the whole album and I love it. But anyway let's go through the songs~

1- No One Mourns the Wicked- For me...considering I have a fairly strong mental image of Fai as Elphaba...I kinda see this as the people of Valeria wanting him to be killed, and the one person explaining how he hadn't intended to be wicked. After all...the wicked to those in Oz seemed to be like the twins in Tsubasa.

2- Dear Old Shiz- Wow I'm not sure what this'd fit...-shrug- NO WAIT I KNOW! This is the song all of them sing at Horitsuba <3 The solo is so Fai. And Yuuko conducts them and Kurogane's the random baritone guy that was forced to join the choir.

3- The Wizard and I- I see this as totally Fai's feelings when it came to Ashura. (I've also seen a cute FaiSaku vid by Osakakitty for this song too). But back to Fai... this is a song about his hopefulness that his magic could be used for something good, and Ashura would the wondrous wizard that Fai so avidly admires.

4- What is this Feeling? - Very Kurogane and Fai -ish. It's a duet about Elphaba and Glinda loathing each other because they come from two utterly different backgrounds and haven't even tried to begin to understand each other, which is a lot like the two of them in the beginning of the series. Kuro's Elphie for this song.

5- Something Bad- Once again...this would be Fai just beginning to doubt his conviction in Ashura the wizard. The goat would be...I dunno some generic guy in Celes. It fits how in Celes there seemed to be something lurking on under the surface...something behind the scenes that was killing the people.

6- Dancing Through Life- This took a hard time for me to sort... but Kurogane strikes me as the one who would sing this song... basically a ballad about not letting life weigh you down. (Ok it doesn't sound like Kurogane from this summary but Fai fit better as Elphaba and...) I mostly love this song for Tsubasa because if you take what he says seriously...Boq and Nessa are kinda like Syaoran and Sakura <3 Besides, I can so see Sakura and Fai chatting about how Syaoran invited Sakura to a dance.

7- Popular- Basically this is back to the cast for What is this Feeling (better known as Loathing) who else but Fai would try to work on Kurogane's appearance and make him popular-lar C; ?

8- I'm Not That Girl - Either Fai singing about Tomoyo or Tomoyo singing about Fai. I'm more inclined to believe the former... it seems more like a Fai kind of duet. 'He could be that boy...I'm not that girl...'

9- One Short Day- A song about Kurogane and Fai attempting to find somewhere they belong, and more praise for Ashura the Wizard.

10- A Sentimental Man- This song really fits Fai and his desire to be a maternal figure to Sakura and Syaoran (it says father but it means mommy!)

11- Defying Gravity- The most powerful song of the whole soundtrack...and I'm going to have to give it to Fai. I could see Fai singing this sort of song, even if the beginning tends to point more to Kurogane as Elphaba. It feels more like Fai beginning to rebel against being a pawn in everybody's schemes and beginning to fly on his own. There are parts that feel like AshuFai as well... This song is just really Kurogane and Fai -ish. With rebellion. And with 'I hope you're happy' There we go.

12- Thank Goodness- As much as I hate to say this...the only one I can see seeing the main part in this is Tomoyo... or maybe Chii. Kurogane would be the protesting man who doesn't believe in the lies being spread of Fai and Fai being the victim of 'he's evil' propaganda. But Tomoyo/Chii would be the one trying to convince themselves that they're happy about this...

13- Wonderful- This song is much more Fai than the other Wizard one. It kinda describes how Fai let his guard down because Sakura and Syaoran thought he was wonderful, and Kurogane is darker about this, claiming 'So you lied to them?' and Fai lecturing him that in different worlds people believe in all sort of things that aren't true. And the duet at the end would be cute.

14- I'm Not That Girl (Reprise) - Eh opposite of the other one.

15- As Long as You're Mine - KuroFai for sure. It'd be more like the tragic 'I'm glad to have you...even if its only for this short moment.' and the last line is very interesting. 'For the first time, I feel wicked.' Yes that'd be a Fai-ish line.

16- No Good Deed- Fai angsting over people kidnapping Kurogane and hurting him...being fueled by his dark past to never do good deeds ever again.

17- March of the Witch Hunters- I actually am going to make an amv with this song someday... this would be a song about the people of Valeria wanting to kill Fai... and the tin man would be Syaoran..since he wanted to kill Fai by stealing his eyes and he was heartless... and strangely I was considering having the lion being Kurogane...I don't know why...maybe even Sakura. And the wicked theme also correlates to the cursed twins idea.

18- For Good- Kurogane and Fai reflecting on how much they learned from each other. This song is so sad... 'I've heard it said that people come into our lives...for a reason...' maybe even a reflection on Tsubasa in general. Fai - Elphaba Kurogane- Glinda

19- Finale- Well just a little sad bit of the people Valeria possibly thinking over their judgment and 'if I never knew you...'

I picked the second (and last) album by the New Wave band Joy Division, called "Closer". It's one of the most beautiful, but sad and depressing albums I ever heard.
Pardon the angst, I will compare funnier stuff to TRC, but now I'm in a bad mood.

Atrocity Exhibition - about FWR and the clones he murders (e.g. Xing Huo)

Isolation - "I'm ashamed of the person I am". Fay, obviously (it's funny, because the song is quite catchy and I once started to dance to it).

Passover - The "darker" part of TRC, starting from Acid Tokyo.

Colony - Cloney. Why? Cuz the names are similar xD

A Means To An End - "I put my trust in you" that words remind me Fay and Sakura in Infinity.

Heart and Soul - Uhhh, I think I don't have to explain this?

Twenty Four Hours - reminds me for some reason of Cloney. Why? Just look at the lyrics

The Eternal - Fay and Yuui in the tower. "Cry like a child, though these years make me older / With children my time is so wastefully spent"

Decades - The TRC guys. "Here are the young men, a weight on their shoulders"

EDIT: Avenue Q soundtrack, as promised. I'm now in a better mood, as you can see:

Avenue Q theme - The TRC characters seem (at the beginning) really happy, but it turns out their future and past are terribly screwed ("lot's of bills to pay!" omfg!)

What do you do with a BA in English? - Syaoran, a young archeologist, thinks his life is normal. It changes.

It Sucks To Be Me - Ekhem... is there any character in TRC that didn't have a screwed life? Even Apple-kun and Freckle-chan end up dead!

If You Were Gay - Fay is in love with his "room mate" Ashura-ou, who is not gay (at least in this song :d). Ashura encourages Fay to get out of the closet and Fay becomes angsty because of it.

Purpose - Fay later finds out his purpose is Kurogane ("Purpose, it's that little flame that lights a fire under your ass")

Everyone's a little bit racist - Kurogane's dislike in Fay is because of the wizard's quuer behavior. Being raised by three (!!!) lesbians, Kuro-tan only knows about female homosexuality.

The Internet is For Porn - Yuuko tells Sakura about the KF pr0n site she made.

Mix Tape - Does Syaoran like Sakura as much as Sakura likes Syaoran???

I'm Not Wearing Underwear Today - Fay gets drunk.

You Can Be as Loud as the Hell You Want (When You're Makin' Love) - Shh, Fay, you'll wake up the kids!

Fantasies Come True - Fay has a dream that Ashura-ou loves him

There's a fine, fine line - Fay to Kurogane in Acid Tokyo.

There is life outside of your apartament - "I'm gonna jump!" "Don't!" "Okay!" Kurogane stops Fay from comitting suicide

The More U Ruv Someone - Yuuko tells Fay that 1) Ashura-ou wasn't his soulmate; 2) Kuro-pun really lurves him. <333

Schadenfreude - How readers love to watch the TRC gang's screwed lifes.

I Wish I Could Go Back To College - KuroFay wonder about how life used to be easy.

The Money Song - Ashura-ou's lonely because Fay left him (Fay was gay and there wasn't any Taishakuten (sp?) in Celes), so he goes to Yuuko, pays his sanity as the price and let's Fay get a boyfriend. Yuuko calls FWR, FWR calls Clow Reed and they all come up with a plan how to find the perfect boyfriend for him. They search all the world and finally find Kurogane. To bring them together, they create a giant plan and along with Ashura-ou come to Earth as CLAMP. FWR is Mokona, abviously; Yuuko is Ohkawa; and Igarashi and Nekoi are the forms of Clow and Ashura-ou, respectively. They work for fifteen years until they have characters that they put into the TRC manga, which finally gives them the ability to make Ashura-ou's friend happy.

School for Monsters - How does Yuuko afford so much alcohol? She gets all the money from KF pr0n, of course!
