is wendy's Gerard actually mistgun i ad this thought after rereading the chapters and noticed that the gerard wendy talks about has a staff on his back. plus when i first read it i had wondered when gerard had had time away from his evil plans to go joyriding around the world so i am conviced that wendy has mistaken mistgun as gerard

maby but he never reveals his face to anyone unless he doesnt wear that outfit on his missions.

Maybe Mistgun's "shyness" came after that little event. Plus if that really was Gerard, he probably would've recruited her for his um project. The more I think about it, the more I think that it was Mistgun. How old d'you think he is..?

That would actually make a lot of sense.
Also, we dont know for sure if Mistgun actually wears that mask OUTSIDE of the Guild building
But, there are a few things against that theory.
1. Why would he use Gerard's name in place of his own?
2. ...

Good point.......Maybe she saw Gerard sometime earlier and mistaked Mistgun for Gerard (or the other way around?) and Mistgun just couldn't bring himself to tell her that? I know this is highly unlikely and doesn't make any sense, but a girl can dream.....

I don't think Gerard is Mistgun, He said he knows Gerard but his not him when they were fighting Luxus, but i think your right about Wendy mistaken mistgun as gerard .

Well since Gerard was on the mage council I would believe that he would be famous if not at least known through out the mage world. In this way if Wendy ever got a small glimpse of Mistguns face she might mistake him for Gerard.

Interesting point. It would certainly explain a lot of things and I don't think anything has happened in the story that denies this...you might as well be onto something here...only time will tell though...
