we have seen luffy in a lot of disadvantages for just fighting with his bare hands, and most of the great pirates there have one like shanks(sword) and WB(spear type)...

soo if ever luffy's going to wield a weapon what do you want it to be and why...???


for me I dont want it to be a sword cause he will be a rival for zoro in becoming the greatest swordsman, so I think something like a rod or spear(maybe he will inherit WB's spear that would be good but i think that's to big for luffy..)

you cant be serios luffy getting a spear or something... he uses his df all the time, so he kinda dont fight with bare hands

Well. A weopon for luffy huh..The only other weopon that can be used with his fist-fighting style would be Knucle-Dusters. But Oda will have a real job fitting that in with his current outfit. Luffy with Knuckle-Dusters? Not very impressive or suave.

No... i don't think Luffy going to get a weapon because every crew member has a fighting style. So we can assume right from the beginning luffy only fights with his fists.

luffy with a wepon just doesent fit, thou it would be cool if he got some knuckle dusters with some blades or somthing on them lol

u need some weapon skills if u wanna have a weapon and luffys devil fruit doesnt match with any weapon
did u even see his fight style cuz if u have u would know it doesnt fit

not necessarily, like they said its possible for luffy to have a knuckle or something right...it is considered a weapon

Yeah but he also stretches his fists. For example - Using gear 3? The giant fist thing. You cant possibly expect the knuckle dusters to expand aswell. Remember, there is no weapon luffy can use that would stretch like his body parts.

Luffy isnt the type who'd wield a spear either. He keeps coming up with new brawl attacks. It just fits his personality.

If you dont know how to use a gun, dont. You might just end up shooting yourself lol. Plus, luffy's weakness is sharp objects. Using a blade would just increase his chances of getting slashed or stabbed. He isnt the smartest character in the world.

actually luffy has his own weapon, his heart. he is fighting with heart all time. and yeah second would be nice i wish it is intelligence. fighting with heart and intelligence while using his powers equels unbeatable luffy.
