wow i'm whipping up new threads like hot cakes here, but don't worry this will be the last....for now

but heres an interesting new line of discussion and that is.....WHO? WHO arranged the murder of ciel's parents? WHO sent him off to be butchered? WHO is the one lurking in the shadows?

now i understand that the anime (when the hell is that second season coming anyway?) had that damn angel and an insane queen victoria run the show....but really? don't you think that yana will follow the adaptation to that end? WHO is the bad guy?

i think that at this point it would be annoying if it was a new character (well maybe, i don't how long kuroshitsuji is going to go on for) but maybe it is a character that has already appeared.

Second season will come out in January 2010, but till the 1st episode is subbed, God knows how much XD
The Kuroshitsuji OVA's been released for over a month and it hasn't been translated yet T____T

I think the villain is none of those guys, I just have a feeling ^^"
Ciel's amazing though, just with one meeting he turned the Baron into a psychotic pedophile o__o
As for the villain, I vote for the Queen. Not very original, but I find her attitude to be fake. The smiles she bestowed upon Ciel at the curry contest are the complete opposite of the icy look she gave when she heard about him not being able to accomplish his mission.
I'm not sure the Queen herself issued the order for the Phantomhive's death. Maybe his father discovered a huge secret that could threaten London and was wiped out, leaving only the son to continue doing her dirty work.

Queen seems to be likely candidate for me too. It would be good and strong dramatic element if Ciels ultimate authority turns to be his greatest enemy. I am not surprised anime creators come up with this. If so I hope Toboso will write it better than anime version.

Even Undertaker is not that unlikely as it seems at first sight, lol. Imagine, what if his purpose is to watch the Queens watchdog? He even warned Ciel to keep his soul safe and he has this lockets of other Phantomhives. Maybe he just waits if the actual Phantomhive doesn't cross some line and if he/she does Undertaker 'cleans up the mess' and gets rid of troublesome earl...
(lol, this one is really crazy)

Anyway I think it will be some character that was already introduced.

Usually the anime creators follows the manga. I won't be surprised if the manga follows the anime plot and ending. I doubt that the anime team would have too much liberty concerning the story, the story belongs to the mangaka.

Good Question, and that's why we're reading the manga, isn't it?
Personally, I agree with the others, the Queen, maybe? She seems a little too friendly....maybe she has a dark side..IDK. However, I really don't want to know. I hope toboso san just keeps it the way it is, with little arcs, cuz if we find out who the real villian is,

At this point, I think there's way too many possibilities to pin down THE villian. The Queen is quite a strong contender since her dramatic and over-friendly manner at the curry competition kinda gives off fake vibes. Also, the fact that she even needs Ciel as her Watchdog in the first place tells you that she's not exactly the sweet-old-granny-who-bakes-cookies type either. Of course, since she IS the vilian in the anime, that might have influenced my opinions that she really is the true villian in the manga too.

As for the other Evil Noblemen, it's plausible that they are the villians too. But, seriously, there really isn't much existing information that we can work with on this theory.

JosephineConrad's theory about the Undertaker being in on the Queen's plans sound pretty crazy at first, but the more I think about it, the more believable it becomes. In the manga, as I mentioned before, there isn't really much info that is available to consider. The only thing is that UT doesn't seem to like the Queen very much (the thing about him not needing the Queen's legal tender or something). Maybe he is in cahoots with her because it is his duty (like Ciel. UT was in that picture about the evil noblemen, after all)?

Yes, Undertaker shows rather strong dislike towards the Queen but on the other hand he helps Phantomhives (My door is always opend for you ... blah blah) and they are Queen's people. There has to be some reason why he is doing it and I doubt it's just for the laughs :3
He appers to know lot more than he've already told us. It doesn't necessarely mean Undertaker is hot candidate for villian, but who knows.

Also I think this is one of the cases when anime differs from manga a bit more than usual. There is extra character, solved story line that is not yet in manga and so on. I wouldn't draw conclusions for manga from anime.
Characters come and go, lot of info is missing and I really hope there is very long journey before us until everything is set and explained :3

first i thought that Tanaka had something with this but he's totally mental now and havent got any gain from it.. my suspects are Queen and her watchdogs and even Sebastian.. i believe its connected somehow with demons and Phantomhive's past .. probably with Claudia P (if she is Phantomhive)
maybe it's someone third, but i doubt it..it's probably someone we already know

Don't get me wrong, I'm not joking, but... for some reasons I feel some evil vibes in Tanaka >.< Used to serve Ciel's parents, huh? Maybe he's the one responsible for the fire? Still, my theory is incomplete, Tanaka would have to work for someone, I can't imagine him as the person behind the whole thing. I have a strong feeling the Queen isn't really innocent, either.
