If the story of Veritas didn't focus on Gang, who would you want to be the protagonist or main focus of the story? The powerful Fire Dragon? The mysterious Jeeha? Maybe Vera?

I would personally like it if the story focused on Rud more. I think there is a lot of character depth there, and I would like to see more of it. I think tragic heroes seeking revenge make for the best story lines, and I think Rud embodies that. Besides, Gang seems too simplistic to be the main character. I hope there is some backstory we don't know about to spice him up.

I don't know if that's sarcasm, but I'm interested in Earth Beast's backstory. Fire Dragon made a crack about how Earth Beast is an incomplete version of his style and doesn't want Gang to end up the same way. What did he do? Why does Earth Beast follow Vera instead of her sister? He could be an interesting character we ever get back to him.

Earth Beast is a reunion creature. He uses Reunion 'reconstituted' Earth style, not the true successor teachings. He also knows who to suck up to so he can be taken care of. He doesnt believe Yuri will get out of her coma like he said to FD.

Earth Beast would have been possible backstory material if he wasnt drawn so fugly. If he was made to kinda look like Sephiroth or young Magneto maybe.

it would be very very interesting, if they had the story focused on the actual antagonist, instead, a reversed viewpoint, in other words, from vera's or yuri's view. That would make the story a little twisted and not as popular, but still worth it. it could be a second version of the story, similar to how XXXholic and Tsubasa reservoir chronicles flows.

I like Gang and the story as is. So the only other person I'm curious about may be Rud, Madoka and Vera. But they irritate me sometimes so I can't say that I'd be particularly interested in the story from their angle. No matter how you look at it...in reality the only two who could carry the story, maybe three are Gang, Rud, and Vera...okay four...maybe Honse since some spoilers say

Only reason I say Vera is because she has a rivalry with her sister who I suspect is going to wake up.
Rud has a rivalry with Vera and the Iron dude, forgot his name he's in isolation now due to that girl Anachilla.
And of course we know Gang's issue
And of course we know Honse's issue.

In reality I think all of their stories are being told in a rather fine fashion...albeit slow, but it works for me. Eventually we're going to see Rud resolve his issue, Vera face off with Yuri, Gang face off with his master's killer and Honse

and/or just help on the sidelines and resolve his issue.

Personally, i'd rather see Honse have more page time... He's like a Smarter Gangryong...
The rest of the cast are kinda crap, Rud is too whiny, Vera is too uptight, and well.... Madoka is just hot...
They really don't offer much to the story other than being a plot device. (Rud for revenge, Vera for supremacy etc etc)
