not really she is only in the spotlight now because of Gerard being brought back. not only that but she is a S Class mage and according to the dream she had earlier a possible future member of the Mages council.

also don't forget she has been voted NO 1 most favourite female character in the manga.

I think that the author is giving a more balanced rule for the others main characters. Remember that Fairy Tail is not only about Lucy and Natsu....that could be really boring!
Is true that Erza is getting more attention. But she is a good character, is not the usual kyaaaa girlish style, she is a strong one yet a bit emotional, yes....but she is a main character too!

see i do think erza does get a bit too much attention sometimes but lately all her parts seem a bit rushed. her fight with midnight i thought was a bit pathetic. I know this thread is about too much erza but she took a hit and then attacked and the fight was over so i think the artist is rushing througha bit. But i'm looking forward to the big take down now so yay fairy tail.

to be honest i think we're all putting our attention on gerard, i mean we see him 3 times as different people! wouldn't you get curious about him? Plus Erza's past is closely related to him so it would appear that she's getting the attention.
But she is also one of the main characters so i don't really think thats a bad thing for the whole manga in general.

Obviously she gets attention... i mean the person who she has had the strongest childhood tie with has been brought back. I don't think that it would focus on Natsu more during this time simply because the last time they met natsu wanted to hand his ass back to him.

If we had it for more than three chapters, that would be boring and seemingly make her look weak.
She's the strongest for heavens sake, of course it's gotta be... at least less than two chapters.

Erza hasn't really been getting that much attention, after all, she was poisoned and was out of the game, temporally. So it's good to have her back, ahowing her true skills by defeating Midnight.

It's either that or she doesn't do anything to the O.6 and then we'll be making a new thread, talking about how she didn't do anything to beat them.
