Ok i've been doing my research and i really don't know what school they would send Haruhi to. It would have to be a school that could rival Ouran and etc.

Japanese education system and standards are different than those here in the U.S. (many people have pointed this out to me, also when you gotta take test to get into to high school you can tell right away they have high standards)

so here to my investigating, So i got curious and started to Google and apparently the a lot of most highly esteemed school we have are Military Schools. icky i don't see Haruhi doing well in a military school or enjoying it much. I figured that there are probably other schools out there to that are just as good but not military orientated.

i found this website that had a list of top private school/ boarding schools and then there was this school that was not listed but it came up in the search

She could always make a school up. like Ouran. That would be cool. I have a feeling that it will be a boarding school. So maybe if she goes they'll have some short chapters about the adventures at boarding school and how Ouran is without Haruhi.

If anyone knows what the top ranked private school in the U.S. is that is not a military school feel free to say.lol What do you guys think

I have a feeling that if Haruhi does go to America to study then its most probably going to be a made up school like Ouran.
Hmm, I'm liking the idea that the school would be a boding school. That could be kinda fun! Sleep overs in her dorms? Late night talks? Oooo...
Plus means that Ouran won't have to rent her out a place to live in while she is in America

Hahahaha that would be so funny!
But everyone would be like, oh he's no Kyouya. Or wow thats so much like Tamaki but its not....wah.
But its a good way for her to go back to Japan! And at least will add to th comedy...which there is a rare amount of right now....But Ouran is so good, so its ok

I dont want Haruhi to go to the US, but she might. >< I dont know what to think after Hatori~sensei dropped those bombs on us.
But if she does that will prolong Ouran! That break Hatori~sensei was waaay worth it :]

I think it would be interesting if they sent Haruhi to France. Do you get my drift on why I would say that? She needs to meet Tamaki's mother and then maybe finally get a confession out of her.

I don't think Haruhi is going to go to America. It's going to be one of those senarios that she does decide to travel to America to be away from Tamaki and the club, and of course, the twins throw a fit about it, Kyoya isn't going to care, Mori isn't goin g to say much, and Hunny is going to start crying and start acting like a 5 year old andf hugs Haruhi and tell her she can't go. Then we jump to a scene were she is saying good bye to everyone and heads back to her apartment and Tamaki is in the emo corner. Then Hikaru tells Tama to snap out of it and go after Haruhi and so, the rest of the club gains up on him to do so, and then he admits his feelings to everyone and goes after her. Then while she is packing away her stuff, he burst into her bedroom and admits his feelings towards Haruhi and such, and she starts crying and hugs him and tells him her feeling towards him and such. and Tama is gonna tell his evil grandma to screw off and such. I think thats gonna happen. But thats just me.

IF she sends Haruhi to America, it wouldn't be to a real school. Too much trouble/copyright/state laws involved with that. Though I'd like to know where Granny's thinking of sending her. New York City? Boston? Or maybe Chicago?

I was thinking exactly this. Harvard is up there with the best schools in America, even if it may not be the same as Japanese standards. It'd be the most logical choice also if the mangaka was choosing a real school to send her too.
