I'm embarking on a 100 day drabble series for Nabari no Ou, (Yoite-centered, inevitably.) A drabble a day for a hundred days.

(For those not versed in fanfic lingo, a drabble is a very short fic, usually between 100 to 1000 words.)

I'm working with a list of drabble themes, but it isn't set in stone. If you have a theme to suggest, go ahead and offer it up here! (Or, you know, leave it in a review on fanfiction.net) Themes can be a single word, a brief phrase, or even a small piece of dialogue. If I use your idea, I'll be sure to credit you.

It's been a long time since I've tried to write fanfiction on a schedule, so please wish me good luck! Nabari has a very small amount of fanfiction, and very few long fics, so please support us poor writers and read and review! (You don't have to have a fanfiction.net account to leave a review.)

Hmm, some prompts... Ah, I kinda thought about this earlier today, but I wondered if Yoite ever observed or scrutinized Yukimi as a "role model" of sorts for asserting his masculinity (he seemed to act more masculine in the beginning of the series, anyway...)
I've also wondered what prompted him to assert himself as a man... was it easier/more convenient? Was it something he always felt but was uncertain if he was "allowed" to? Did he ever really come out and say what he was? >____>; shhhhh yes I'm all over his gender identity

Yoite using Yukimi as a role model is something I've never thought of before, but it makes sense and is a good idea. Thanks! I'll try to work that in somewhere. Exploring his relationship with Tsukasa also sounds like fun, as well as his gender identity... you're just full of good ideas, huh?

Yeah, pretty much all I do on the internet is read fanficion, so the complete lack in the NnO arena is too painful for me to bear.

Thank you very much for the prompts! "Cooking" especially catches my interest- there's an awesome splash page of Yukimi and Yoite cooking together. "Technology" also gives me a few good ideas... namely about cell phones, heh.

I'm thinking about using squidduck's prompt of "Waffles" and have Gau & Raikou come over and make some breakfast... or something. (Somehow, I can't picture Yukimi making waffles, but Gau? Totally. He's a frickin' housewife for God's sake.) Eh, I have plenty of time to think about it, since I'm only posting one a day.

As for a light-hearted prompt... How about something that has to do with Yoite's birthday? (It says on his profile that his birthday is somewhere in late December.)

He probably hasn't shared anything like that, but maybe someone (coughcoughmaybeMiharusincehebugseveryonewithhisab solutemoecoughcough) could be bugging him to tell them what his birthdate is. Also, Kairoushuu has stalker-ish info on like, everyone...

Hmm, I am sure that Gau would also be capable of digging up Yoite's birthday. LOL, now I want Gau to make Yoite waffles for his birthday. Imagine Yoite picking up a giant waffle smothered in whipped cream and strawberries and eating it all in one chomp! OM OM NOM.

I apologize for not posting the last few days, life has been.... hectic to say the least, and minor details like drabble-writing have just totally slipped from my mind. I'll be double posting for a few days until I am caught up.

AND: I recently lost a classmate to a car accident. All I can say is, for God's sake, wear a seatbelt.

I am officially over a tenth done. I should be double posting again tomorrow, at which point I should be all caught up, (I think... it might actually put me ahead, but oh well.) Thank you for everyone's support thus far!
