man seriously, zenkichi was like main character of bekemonogatari, a white canvas that people could either relate to or even imagine as themselves. dont know why he took that character out of the formula

Rejoice! I heard the focus will be back on Zen for a few chapters. Too bad we all know it will be pointless since this pretty much turned into a battle manga and so Zen has no chance of going against any of the 13 if they seriously tried to beat him. Well... that is... unless the author doesnt turn Zen into a marty sue b/c of the fact that he is always around Medaka or some b/s like that.

You guys are right... Zenkichi has faded away from the main character into an umportant side character. I actually started reading because of Zenkichi. The manga was pretty normal at first. Then it began to go all weird. It changed from gag and understandable manga to an unlogical superhuman fantasy battle manga.
