who here definitely disagree the yuuta and aoi should be together. I DO NOT want that to happen.

I totally agree with you. I really don't like them as a pairing... But then again, I don't really like Nami and Taisuke together. This manga is riddled with pairings I don't like.

How can you not like NamixTaisuke? They're so cute! I know, I know, to each their own, but I would hate for Taisuke to end up with Megumi (or any one else). She's barely even there, can't fight, and the whole childhood romance thing is so over rated.
But if he dies in the end...well, that's just fine.

AoixYuuta would be cute....

Well, I personally thought that the fact that Taisuke was willing to fight Hirose over Megumi, fall of the roof of the school building with her and seach god only knows how long for her, it really speaks with how much he cares about Megumi. Not to mention that Megumi always had faith in Taisuke. It's not her fault that she's never there, and if she had resisted 'the call', she could fight to, but it never came to her so she never had the chance. I think it's unfair to use that against her as well...

I just... Don't think Taisuke thinks of Nami as anymore then a friend, and I think they should stay friends... I don't really know, I just don't like them as a pairing.

I usually don't go for the Childhood Friend relationship either, but here, I think it's just better. My preference

personally i think that they should just all stay single. It's better that way. And i cannot see the pairing taisukeXnami. I just can't see it and i won't. I dislike nami because it just seems like the second arc was for setting her up to become taisuke's girlfriend, and didn't really do much in the story. TaisukeXMegumi does have a better chance to get together buuuuuuuut it seems like they are really good friends so yeah... and yuuta and aoi, they would make a cute couple but theirs something there that just won't make them into a couple. They probably would like eachother later on and would get mad over little things of eachother, but they would stay as friends..

LIke i said before, the characters in alive is better off being single. Don't get me wrong, i still like nami but i don't adore or envy her as i use to because of the second arc. If they do end up with eachother... i would seriously not like these characters.

For the situation they're in, a serious romance (for any of the main characters) would only hinder them, and the storyline.

What I like about Yuuta and Aoi...is that it seems to be more schoolkid-like. They're young, and even if they do have feelings for each other, they probably won't act on it. If they do, it will probably be very lighthearted, if not used for the 'cute'/'comedic'-factor.

I don't think ALIVE needs (or fits a situation for) romance, but Aoi and Yuuta might be cute.
