Is there any manga that's like this? Of course this is unique, but I want to find a manga that evokes a similar feeling.. particularly: the overall message of the story, the lighthearted comedy, the nice mesh of characters, romance that's of low priority, and a protagonist who doesn't fit into a run-of-the-mill stereotype (i.e. thick, dense, but caring; or aloof, with a tragic past; or an ungrateful, rude loud-mouth with a magic talent of some sort; or pretty, charismatic, and scheming/mysterious; or a young-orphan-boy-who-saves-the-world) but also whom I actually enjoy reading about. That's not to say cliches are bad, but some of them (combined with really bad dialogue) can be insufferable after reading a lot of those types of stories.
