Does Air Gear series already end in Japan? :o
If it does can anyone tell me how is it end? With who Ikki ends with? I hope he would end with Ringo, so if he end with someone else i dont think i want to read this series anymore.........

Air Gear has not ended, if you are wondering about the lack of issues, it is on hiatus and will be back on October 21st.

In japan they are at chapter 256 as well. As said earlier it is on hiatus for 3 weeks. This is the fourth week since it went on hiatus, so the new chapter will probably be out this week.

Ikki hasn't ended up with anybody just yet--in any case, the romance stuff is really the B or C plots of the series.

Personally I'm anticipating the story to end with him not yet having chosen anyone. Thus giving the impression that "their story continues on even after the books end" and all that. I get what you mean though...the romance isn't part of the plot, it's more of a subplot or undercurrent, adjacent to the actually storyline

I don't believe that romance can be seen as a subplot. I mean, that's why a lot of characters are still fighting: Iron Clock, Ringo, Emily, Kururu, Yayoi... they might not be main characters, but they still are making a diference when they're needed.
Besides, about Ringo and Ikki, I doubt you can get the whole picture of what their feelings are regarding the Grand Slam without knowing the feelins they have for each other. I hope Emily gets more things to do from now on (altho I find it hard). I love her character, and her outfit is just too cute! <3 |
