Does Ren really care about Karin?
Well i know that Ren did say he didn't hate karin when he erased her memories,
but why did he bully his sister so much? You really can tell Ren cares about Karin alot, when karin was kidnapped and was in the truck and also when Yuriya went to visit Kenta for the last time you also can see Anju AND Ren's shawdow at the back. I just don't understand since he cares about her so much why does he tease her so much? |

Because Ren has his own feeling
Even if Ren does show his feeling of being a Lovable and Kind even Smiling brother. You know his past with his Grandma Elda right? Ren is the kind of person that sees a brotherly love and family as something that can only be show in extreme situation like Karin kidnapped and a feeling not a feeling that can be show so easily. that my perspective

Well i guess thats right.
My friends used to joke that Ren dosent like Karin because she looks so similar to Elda. but Ren SEEMS and i mean SEEMS to care about Anju more than Karin. What do you think. |

He DOES care about Karin..Is just he dont show it, I can understand him, I have an older sister and we are always figthing but she care about me like I do for her, is not so it is not so rare among siblings, also is not he care more about Anju is just that he pet her much^^

I'm pretty certain that he acted the way he did in preperation for the memory manipulation, he stated they've been planning things like this for 4 years, and with every hit and noogie n whatnot, he scrambled something about vampires, which explains why they could erase it all without formatting her mind.
Just my opinion, had to register to voice it.

Ren was a problem for me to follow...... In volumes 3 - 5 he seemed like he'd rather have her dead!!!! He was the only charcter Yuna didn't do right in terms of personality!!!! It wasn't realistic!!!!

Well the reason he don't like Karin all that much is because hes actually afraid of her, I mean look at the similarities between Elda and her... And we all know Ren have a little Trauma Problem with Elda
 But he does really like her, I mean their siblings after all, but he don't have a good way to show it, yup.

I guess that he obviously cares about karin but he just isn't the type of person that would show off his feelings that easily. Besides, I'm sure that we understand that the point here is that he is a really good person and that he loves karin :]
