What to say? It wasn't that bad. At first all she could do was crying every single chapter. EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER.

It really pissed me off, even after I found out what she has been through: I just couldn't stand her!!

But at the end I changed my mind and stopped disliking her that much... But.... yeah, it wasn't bad.. but it wasn't either... how can I say it?

you understand me? It was an average shoujo. No more and no less. Kinda disappointed.

I disagree. To say that it's an average shoujo isn't right to me. Usually they're pointless, have absolutely no plot except, ooh I like you!! And then something happens and they get together.

Usually, I'd probably agree with you, because I really hate weak female characters that cry all the time. It really pisses me off. But Kira wasn't weak, and she did have a good reason. You should put yourself in her shoes. :|

I agree mars wasn´t an average shoujo each character has their own history and problems like suicide, mental problmes, rape, etc In my opinion one of the best I ever read the drawing was reely good ant history amazing

well... maybe I expressed myself badly. Sorry: I'm italian

....... what I meant is: OK, the personalities of the characters are interesting, OK, kira has gone through a lot (and I DO think she is pitiable), and OK, this IS a good read.
BUT:
1- I didn't like very much the style of the author: the expressions were all the same (or so I think)
2- Yeah, Kira is strong... but when you don't know WHY she is crying, you may find it annoying (I did

3- I consider an averege manga, the one that doesn't drag me in. When I read a very good manga, I am sticked to the computer, I can't do without reading. Sometimes I don't even study in order to finish a manga I really like. And MARS wasn't one of those manga. For me, at least.

Said all this... what can I add?

One, last thing..... WTF!! All those guys are... how do I say in english? In italian I'd said that they're just a bunch of "sfigati". I don't know how to render the meaning of this word with the right sense

i totaly disagree with you i was stuck completey into this manga and finnished it in one day !!! Give me a manga that you think is better !!?!?! ye there is none !!

btw sfigati means nerd right !!! I don't see how that fits!!

It's not really nerd. And if you want to read something that will surely suck you into the story.... GANTZ. though it's not a shoujo. But it's just awesome

Oh, and Raks, I saw this a while back... Lovely complex over Mars? Really? REALLY?? Ugh. UUUGHH. Screw the respectful crap-- There's no WAY that Lovely Complex or GANTZ is anywhere near MARS's level.

Of course, I can't judge on GANTZ too much considering I haven't watched more than like two epsiodes. Perhaps the manga is better? If not, well, O.O The first ep. was sooo perverted and I lost all interest at start. I don't think it ''sucked me in'' too much.

Yes, I think it will all be much better if we pretend this conversation never happened, Raks.
