Wouldn't Ga-Rei be awesome as a game?
The gameplay could be a bit like free roam (do the missions when you want and perform side missions such as exorcism and so on) and the fights with the Sesshouseki possessed enemies or the antagonists would make awesome bosses.
There are lots of characters, weapons and "forms" as well. Such as Kagura with Michael 12 or 13 or the double sword as weapon, Kensuke with Douglas, Michael 12 or Revolution, Yomi as normal or evil spirit, Noriyuki with his staff, Tsuina with her staff, Iwahata with his drills, Ayame with her psycho wheelchair, Shizuru with her knife and so on. The spirit beasts could be the ultimate move for those that have spirit beasts. What do you guys think? Wouldn't it make an awesome game? |

Yeah, I agree. But since its an orginization you wouldn't even need to be one of those characters. You could go mad with the customization abilities of a game like that, the concept is great don't you think? It could be like....Phantasy Star Online or Universe ya know? Online for one part (optional of course) Or Story mode. It would be great. Who doesn't want to cut down giant demons/ghosts with a single slash of a sword? lol

There is something like that I think, but it isn't complete yet. It's called Secret World. Try to get more info at darkdaysarecoming.com. I think it might be something reeeeeeeally good (still, they haven't relased anything except a trailer and some screenshots).

Ga-Rei as a game = epic win.
 I agree. The elements you guys suggested definitely makes Ga-Rei a total win for the console systems. Although, I find it hard to imagine the game being a fighting game.  If its RPG style, it would definitely pwn but I refuse to make the battle system like Final Fantasy!  Maybe kind of like the battle system for Kingdom Hearts but no way, its gonna be like Final Fantasy... As for which one is the main character, it should have like an option on which one you would like to be whether it'd be Kensuke, Kagura, Yomi, etc... Wow, I feel loads of joy right now~  I'm imagining the game like the Persona franchise though different battle systems. Though even if they are currently making a game for Ga-Rei, I doubt they'll release it here in the US since they've yet licensed the anime or the manga but cross our fingers!
