... fan who dislikes this manga with a passion? Because, I feel like I'm the only boys love fan who hates this anime/manga.. I don't even know why, but I never and will never get into this at all...it's just everyone who likes shounen ai seems to like this anime/manga... What about this manga draws you in? Is it the artwork? Characters?? Or the storyline? Because honestly I don't see how this can be such a great manga as everyone talks about. Personally, I prefer FAKE, which seems less popular than this, even though the storyline is amazing and the character development is just great. In Gravitation...the only real character development..was with Yuki, who isn't that great...And Shuichi, who is just annoying to me. So please, tell me why this is SO popular, while other great shounen ai anime/manga aren't as popular..

Hehe yea if you are looking for character development you've come to the wrong mangaka. I mostly like Gravitation because of the humor and the presonalities of the characters. Gravitation isn't ment to be serious, it's ment to be entertaning and filled with lovely fanservise. AND Gravitation is one od the very VERY few BL mangas that has good art, even though the style changes it just shows how much better the mangaka has become.

But I do totally understand if some poeple are put off by the extreme insaneity in this manga, or they get annoyied by the changeing art og the poor character development. xD

But I really love it anyway, Murakamis sence of humor is just plain amazing.

I was never really bothered by the art..I thought it was pretty good, considering it's a pretty old manga. And I'd have to admit, I do love funny and random things, but drama and action...it's more to my liking XD

^^ It really depends on your taste, I think many BLs tend to be too dramatic for me, so I find Gravi a great releaf. xD

i agree with tarmie.
this will forever be my favorite manga... ever.
i mean, i love a lot of manga. Pandora Hearts is my 2nd favorite (GilxOz FTW).
BUT, staying on topic, this was the first manga i ever really got into. i was 14 when i first started reading it after borrowing it from a friend. i had no idea of its popularity until i began reading it online. when i came on here to read it, that's when i found out how popular it really is.
i'm actually reading it again and it never gets old for me.
the humor makes me laugh all the time. yuki's personality is definitely one that i love. shuichi is a totally fun character, too.
i just think it's the perfect manga.
i'm sorry that you don't care for it.
