No. If that's your kind of fix, go watch DBZ.

He has the 'most powerful' martial art outside of Heaven's Riches style.
He's an ass. But he's an ass with a big stick. |

I think it's in part because of his manner. He is so crude. When you compare him to suave freedom fighter Bishounen BADASS Lighting Tiger......it's not just about ability because I do feel like he's growing but I just don't think that he's cool. Well I'll give him some time.

Not to mention you have to put it into context.
Gang is in a school full of kids who've been training their psy/combat abilties a good portion of their lives, along with heavy doses of artifical ki for an extra boost. He on the other hand is a new student whose only combat training has been streetfighting and a few months with LT. He hasn't even learned to properly control his ki or is he getting artifical ki, and since he hasn't been doing it since childhood it is even harder for him to do so. Yet, even with all that...he still manages to more or less hold his own. I actually like that he's still the underdog and still has to get better. I prefer it to manga where the MC suddenly enters a community of supposed fighting masters then completely kicks their butts without even trying. |

I used to think so at first and I used to get pissed because he was always the underdog, but pretty much after the next chapter or so he gets a much needed power boost by helping Fire Dragon. That's all I'll say.
After that, although he still is kind of the underdog in a fight due to what I'm now calling his lack of "eloquent" usage of martial arts...he will be standing toe to toe with a member of the Student Council and even aiding in injuring an adult member of Heaven's Riches. After I saw that...I felt at ease. Also everyone else brought up good points. He was in a school full of highly trained martial artist and he was a street fighter who only learned a small percentage of his skill at the time. He's still learning and like Vera said about LT, Gang is potentially the most dangeous person right now to her and her sister.

Gang is a fast learner! If you really think about it, you will see that Gang is extremely strong!
The other characters needed many, many years of training (since birth) before they can obtain their levels of mastery. Now, look at Gang who only trained for a very short of time, and he is already leveling up rapidly! Lol.

His easy brutality (to anyone, male or female) makes him an ordinary animal, a dangerous wild beast - not motivated by greed but by savage bloodlust. The most unlikable character for me.
Madoka may have no morals, but she has a kind heart in her overlarge breast. And that (in addition to her looks) makes her one of the top characters, in my book. |
