Right now im really liking Clare. Mostly because of her youki reading ability. Before the seven years had passed Clare's weakness was her inability to transition into offense while supporting her astounding defense. Miria even commented that she needed more practice. But now with a truly mastered Quick Sword technique, the used to be unique ability to half awaken, and seven years of training. Just what is she capable of doing. I think she is probably one of the most underrated Claymore's in the series, i'd go as far as to compare her to Teresa for obvious reasons. Who are your favorite Claymores, and who do you believe is the strongest?

TERESSA OF THE FAINT SMILE of course is the strongest ever.
she didn't even had to change her eyes to be stronger.
it's sad, though, she's dead..

After number 2 dyeing and number becoming an Abyssal One there are only two alive who can possibly take the first place Clare and Miria. I am tending to Clare because now she even has more fighting experience than Miria (receiving memories of earlier number 5). But if you say ever than it is of course Theresa. The only possible way how Clare could surpass her is if she learns to fully control her awakening form which she used in fight against silver Lion (or sth).

I think Teresa is still the strongest Claymore even though she's dead. Sure, Clare got speed but other claymores say she lacks the strength. Teresa is good at everythinggg.

That's a contradiction. If she is dead she can't be the strongest, because she is no more. But if you referring to how she was there is no proof that Theresa could stand a chance against an Abyssal One but current Number One Alicia (at least before last chapter) do seem to be able to fight at least on par with one. Another problem is we do not know on what level Clare is now. She didn't fight full strength for awhile now.

I would actually think that rafaela is the strongest.
I mean rafaela lived much longer than teresa

As you know rafaela hid herself as punishment for the failure of soul link [new experiment of the organization] but at that time teresa was active. (I also think rafaela actually cared about teresa)
We never saw rafaela fight, right? and she has the potential to be number 1.
but teresa is still the strongest

clare is strong yes..but she doesn't have the same skills teresa had.

besides clare doesnt have all the flesh and blood of teresa...only the flesh and blood from her head

but it depends..we havent seen the the limits and fighting skills of all the characters :O

I'm sure we can still compare dead ones' strength although they're dead. Just compare their powers before they were dead. Even if you think that was a contradiction, most people would know what I'm talking about so it doesn't matter, really.

i will personally say it's Teresa of the Faint Smile, the fact that she can kinda pawn everyone really badly. The only reason she lost in my opinion was that she wasn't even at full power, also she did take down an abyssal one pretty quickly. (For anyone who disagrees, Abyssal= anyone #1 who awakens doesn't matter how powerful, so Rosemary would count).

Well, I'm loving Clare too. But i must agree that Teresa is really the strongest even though she died... because she was cheated.
