I wonder what happened to them as well, but in a mnaga that has no continuity like this one, i think it hardly matters. The only thing we would really miss is character introductions, if there are any.

Can you say that for certain though? I hate skipping volumes, let alone chapters. I like reading Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei but I've been holding it off until the missing chapters are uploaded.
