Lol! XD I understand, my brain is being pretty stupid today (due to lack of sleep! =.=) Oh~Oedipus. That was an interesting read, I remember. I'm happy to hear that you got that big essay done, it's always nice after accomplishing things like that.

It's a very interesting topic. My focus is more on the female aspect of beauty and how they are using a mixture of traditional beauty and elegance, with modern beauty and spunk, to be more assertive and in your face, all the while still maintaining the essence of being a Japanese woman. This includes language (both spoken and written, with a focus on Japanese emoticons and Kogal-ben (or Kogal-language) as well as physical appearance.) It's very fascinating, even though (at the moment) I'm procrastinating to an insane level! XD

You're welcome! ^^ Ah, let's see...I really have to do research for my paper in Contemporary Japan class (it has to be between 10-12 pages long.) I'm doing it on the topic of "The Concept of Traditional Japanese Beauty in Contemporary Times," with a research question of "How has the concept of traditional Japanese beauty, when it comes to women, transformed in contemporary times?" I love the topic and find it fascinating (I just don't like jotting down notes and picking out quotes for my paper! XD) Luckily I got all my other work out of the way for this week, so I only have to focus on getting the research done (and then writing it up this weekend!) (^^)b
